CHRISTOPHER J. BERRY OF THE ELDER CARE FIRM NAMED TOP ONE PERCENT BY NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF DISTINGUISHED COUNSEL
Berry named Top One Percent for the second consecutive year
Brighton, MI – Christopher J. Berry, JD., CELA, the founder of The Elder Care Firm, a full-service estate and long-term care planning operation, as well as The CJ Berry Group, a firm that provides cutting-edge tax-free retirement strategies and money management support, was this week named Top One Percent by the National Association of Distinguished Counsel (NADC).
As an organization dedicated to promoting the highest standards of legal excellence through recognizing the attorneys who elevate that standards of the Bar and provide a benchmark for other lawyers to follow, the NADC thoroughly vetted honorees through a research team to come to their Top One Percent conclusion.
This was Berry’s second year being recognized for the honor.
“As someone who is incomparably passionate about my line of work and ensuring Michigan retirees and seniors are able to create long-term financial plans that protect them against probate, unnecessary taxes, and long-term care costs, I am honored to have received this distinguished award for the second year in a row,” said Berry. “The NADC recognizes less than 1% of practicing attorneys in the United States, and to be among the likes of those recipients is a true accomplishment.”
Through Berry’s two different businesses, he is able to help seniors with elder law planning, as well as cutting-edge tax-free retirement, retirement income, long-term care protection strategies, and conservative money management. The two entities work to provide clients with a wholesome approach that circumvent devastating costs of long-term care and other threats, as well as events, that can happen to good people.
To date, Berry is a nationally recognized estate and financial planning expert, with features in publications like Kiplinger’s Retirement. He has been invited to present for the world’s top financial companies, money managers, and industry associations, including Northwestern Mutual, Mass Mutual, John Hancock, Michigan Association of CPA’s, Society of Financial Service Professionals, Financial Planning Associate, and more.
“I want to thank the NADC for this second recognition, and look forward to cultivating a long-term financial plan for all of Michigan’s hard-working seniors and elders,” said Berry.
Also an accredited author, Berry has penned The Caregiver’s Legal Guide to Planning for a Loved one with Chronic Illness, and is the co-author for Tax-Free Money for Long-term Care and Protect My IRA: Avoid the 5 Common Mistakes.
